'Enduring a Horrific Ordeal': Loved Ones of Missing Young People Desperately Seek Answers After Ski Resort Fire
The relatives of teenagers unaccounted for after a devastating fire at a bar in a Switzerland's ski resort are facing an agonising period of uncertainty for answers and pleading for information about their family members publicly.
The blaze engulfed the a popular bar in the alpine resort, located in the Swiss Alps of the Valais region, in the small hours of New Year's Day. Confirmed images reveal the roof structure igniting as bottles with fireworks are held aloft.
Authorities have stated that it could take days if not weeks to formally name the fatalities of the tragedy, which killed numerous partygoers and wounded another 119. A spokesperson noted on the latest update that the majority of the those hurt have been accounted for, with the process still underway to identify the remaining few.
In the waiting period, loved ones have been posting on online platforms to request information about their friends who were in attendance that fateful night.
Appeals for the Missing
The fate of Swiss national Arthur Brodard, a teenager, are still unconfirmed, according to an appeal from his family.

The Italian Golf Federation has said that he is no longer with us, without directly referencing the fire, honoring a "talented young man who embodied dedication and authentic values."
His parent, reportedly stated that his son was at the bar and was last heard from around midnight. An representative has stated that a formal confirmation of his death is not yet.
Further Missing Individuals
Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is likewise among the missing. His parent explained that he had been on holiday but had gone out with friends and ended up at the bar.
